India in command of third test.
In a crucial toss, England won and elected to bat first. But they couldn’t capitalise the advantage after winning the toss. They lost three early wickets. In mohali, India is in complete command. England only managed to score 268 and lost 8 wickets on day 1.Every Indian bowler has managed to pick up wicket. Only con from India side is that they have dropped four catches. India would have been in much better position had they held on to those catches. Cook and Bairstow were dropped twice each. England stuck to their opening pair in the tour. Both of them failed to provide start for their team. Hameed failed even to score a double digit score.
Bairstow was first dropped while batting on 54. Parthiv Patel failed grab one of the edge. And while bairstow was on 89, Parthiv Patel once again dropped Bairstow in Jayant Yadav’s Bowling. At stumps of Day 2 Adil rashid and Gareth Batty are at the crease.
KL Rahul ruled out of remainder of series
After recovering from injury which he picked during New Zealand series, KL rahul was able play onl y one test match. After a recess, he was picked up for the second test which held at Vizag. He felt extremely uncomfortable while batting in the nets. Official announcement regarding KL rahul’s availability for remainder of series is yet to be released by BCCI.
Thought not a great assistance from the pitch, India’s bowlers managed to make best out of it.All Indian bowlers bowled with Discipline. Umesh Yadav , Jayant Yadav and Jadeja have picked up three wickets each. Ashwin and Shammi picked one wicket each. Bairstow was the top scorer from England cricket team with 89 runs. He is the leading run scorer in 2016 calendar year by any batsmen in test.
