INDIA in control of second test:

 

India is completely in control of the second test and giving tough time to the hosts at wellington. Ishant Sharma answered his critics by picking up his personal best 6-51 in an innings. Mohammed shammi also picked up a four wicket haul and helped India to restrict Kiwis for 192.At stumps of day 1 India were 100 for two.  Shikhar Dhawan looking confidant on 71 and Night watchmen Ishant Sharma on 3 also resisted Kiwi bowling. NZ has to defend the series lead without Ross Taylor.

Indian skipper MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to field first, with this Dhoni has won each and every toss in the series but didn’t manage to win a single game. At the start both openers Rutherford And Fulton looked comfortable till ishant Sharma took the ball.Ishant helped India to taste first success by picking Rutherford in 10th over of the innings and also caught Fulton in front of the stumps in 12th over. From then New Zealand downfall has started Since then none of the New Zealnd Batsmen looked comfortable. Skipper Brendon McCullumn and Kane Williamson tried to stable the innings and been unsuccessful as the partnership lasted only 19 runs. Kane wiillimson was lucky to survive ashwa out twice of No balls. Ross Taylor Replacement Latham got out without troubling the scorers .At one stage New Zealand were 86/6 and were in danger to be bowled out below 100.But lower order batsmen Tim Southee and Jimmy Neesham showed some resistance and helped New Zealand to score 192.

Tim southee has provided New Zealand an early break through by sending M Vijay back to pavilion for two in second Over. Since then Ch Pujara and  Shikhar Dhawan stabled the innings with a Partnership of 87. McCullumn brought Boult into the attack and he delivered a break through by picking of crucial wicket of Pujara. Ishant Sharma walked in as night watchman and managed to survive.
